Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Refrigeration Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our commercial building systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of HVAC/HVAC-R systems, utilities, and site systems
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment on all systems
  • Perform routine facility repairs, including sheetrock, patching, caulking, painting, lock repair, and piping
  • Monitor and repair boilers, and ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters
  • Install and repair plumbing / piping / tubing; wire single and three phase motors (under the direction of the Senior Electrician); run conduit; pull wiring to machinery, motors, operating parts, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and PM VFD (variable frequency drives) on HVAC units and pumps
  • Utility Substation HV (High Voltage) switching and monitoring load distribution on site
  • Assist other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment
Requirements
  • 5+ years working with commercial building systems, specifically including components with refrigeration
  • Experience with Siemens or Allan Bradley BAS systems
  • Universal EPA 608 certification (Refrigeration)
  • Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English. Conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
  • Subject to 24-hour availability
