Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
  • Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide education to residents and their families.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
  • Work effectively with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
