Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to interventional radiology, including preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a 13-week contract position with a 40-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures, including explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to capture high-quality images
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
