About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MRI Scanner Operator to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain high-quality images used to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and selecting appropriate technical parameters.
- Image Acquisition: Operate the MRI scanner to acquire high-quality images of the body.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all images meet quality standards and are accurately labeled.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Certifications: Possess one or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medicine Tech (NMTCB), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT), Medical Sonographer (ARDMS), or Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARMRIT).
- Education: Hold a High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, an Associate's degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
