Job Description

The Senior Principal Systems Specialist will play a critical role in developing and implementing technology solutions to support federal agencies and the DoD. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system engineering, network security, and IT service management. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, testing, and implementing hardware, software, applications, and capabilities within demonstration and test environments for assessment and evaluation before inclusion within the baseline ICON RA.

• Collaborating with government and industry subject matter experts to develop and implement system, network, and security requirements.

• Facilitating technical exchange meetings to share best practices, collect lessons learned, and continuously improve the ICON RA.

• Providing updates on lessons learned, errata, and release notes resulting from assessments and evaluations of new and updated component testing.

• Supporting asset management and configuration management services to maintain technical and administrative control of functional and physical characteristics of technology assets throughout the Enterprise IT environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • • 8+ years of experience in system engineering, network security, and IT service management.
    • Strong background in DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification.
    • Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Estimated Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 per year
