As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Smile and greet customers, answer customer questions, and help resolve customer concerns in a polite and professional manner.
    • Follow company policies relating to customer checkout to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Identify and shop customer orders in a timely fashion to ensure customers receive accurate and fresh orders.
  • Checkout and Cash Handling
    • Operate Front End scanning equipment and register, perform all related checkout procedures, including properly bagging merchandise and placing merchandise in customers' carts.
    • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged for all items and appropriate funds are collected.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions.
    • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and department guidelines to ensure work areas, equipment, counters, display cases, etc. are well maintained, clean, and meet all health and OSHA requirements.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Cooperate with coworkers and superiors to ensure smooth function of the department and store.
    • Responsible for continuously improving job performance.
  • Qualifications
    • Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
    • No prior experience required.
