Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Position Details- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Work Schedule: 48 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Employment Type: Travel
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. Key duties include:
- Administering IV medications and managing hemodynamic lines.
- Conducting patient assessments and utilizing strong critical thinking skills.
- Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Managing ventilators and telemetry for complex cases.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid state nursing license.
- A minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, excluding travel assignments.
- Experience with critical care procedures and technologies.
- Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
The ICU unit provides a supportive environment with:
- Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, depending on acuity.
