At Anthony Jordan Health Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our oral health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral prophylaxis to patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients' mouths and report any abnormalities to the doctor before proceeding with oral prophylaxis.
  • Take and process X-rays as needed.
  • Provide patients with topical fluoride treatments and application of sealants.
  • Provide dental health education to patients on an individual basis.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental hygiene operatory, darkroom, and instruments.
  • Assist with dental health education for groups such as schools or churches.
  • Chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized course in dental hygiene.
  • Mastery of dental procedures and techniques.
  • Ability to work with children and medically handicapped patients.
  • Ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) abilities a plus.

About Anthony Jordan Health Corp:

  • We are an independent Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation.
  • We receive funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • We are a network of outpatient primary care offices with providers who follow a panel of patients.

Salary: $30.00-$32.00/HOUR
