Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for TMS Spravato Clinic in South New Jersey

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Oasis Mental Health Centers Medical LLC in South New Jersey. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide advanced psychiatric care, including the administration and management of Spravato (esketamine) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments for individuals suffering from treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including a review of medical and psychiatric history, to determine the appropriateness of Spravato and/or TMS treatment.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans, monitor treatment progress, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee and administer Spravato (esketamine) treatments, ensuring adherence to REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) program guidelines.
  • Closely monitor patients during treatment sessions for adverse reactions or side effects and provide follow-up care as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on the risks, benefits, and expectations of Spravato therapy, as well as other therapeutic options.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide immediate interventions in the case of psychiatric emergencies or adverse reactions during treatment sessions.
  • Serve as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring respectful, compassionate, and confidential care.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatry.
  • Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in NJ.
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric care. Experience with esketamine, ketamine, or other advanced treatments for depression preferred (but not required).
  • REMS Certification: Must be or become REMS certified to administer Spravato treatments.
