About Us

Generator Source is a family-operated company with over 40 years of experience in the power generation industry. We specialize in buying, selling, renting, and servicing diesel and natural gas generators for backup power and installed generators.

Our company is composed of three divisions – equipment sales, service, and e-commerce. We work with new & used generators and offer top name brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, and MTU.

As a Diesel Generator Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service and solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment operation by completing inspections, preventive maintenance requirements, correcting deficiencies, keeping records, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Determine equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts and general troubleshooting.
  • Maintain yard/field equipment (forklifts, cranes, service trucks, welders, trailers, generators, etc.)

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Diesel Engine Mechanic.
  • In-depth understanding of diesel engine technology is required.
  • Experience working with large industrial diesel engines and related equipment is required.
