Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting: Employ diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and rectify mechanical problems in devices and systems.
  • Installation: Assist in the installation of new mechanical devices and systems, ensuring correct setup and alignment.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts utilized, labor hours, and device performance metrics.
  • Compliance: Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and industry standards, following protocols for the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Collaboration: Work in conjunction with engineering and production teams to tackle mechanical challenges and contribute to the development of innovative devices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technological advancements, proposing enhancements to improve device performance and reliability.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in time management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a mechanical technician or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical devices.
  • Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities required may include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Compensation: $21-25 Hourly Wage
