We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at CDH Medical Care Center. This is a part-time, night shift position.
Job DescriptionThe Patient Care Technician will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide basic patient care activities. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assisting patients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Reporting abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assisting with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
- Demonstrating flexibility, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- Nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation.
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed.
- CPR – Basic Life Support certification.
