Position Overview

As a key member of the Property Management team, the Facility Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facilities. This position is integral to maintaining a welcoming environment for both staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including restrooms and food service locations, adhering to established protocols.
  • Safely operate custodial and maintenance equipment, ensuring responsible usage at all times.
  • Respond promptly to custodial requests throughout the day as directed.
  • Secure buildings by providing lock/unlock services and conducting safety checks and walkthroughs during critical times.
  • Assist in setting up and rearranging furniture for special events and meetings.
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks or repairs as needed within the work area.
  • Document completed tasks using an electronic work order system to maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is highly preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance are necessary.
