Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to collaborate with our experienced team in enhancing lab capabilities, conducting critical development and certification testing, and contributing to innovative aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
  • Design and develop pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors.
  • Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
  • Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Strong experience in mechanical systems design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other facilities, local universities, and suppliers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
