Feedmill Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Feedmill Mechanic to join our team at Mountaire Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our feedmill equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

* Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all feedmill equipment and machinery
* Inspect feedmill equipment daily to detect potential mechanical and electrical problems and implement solutions
* Respond to breakdowns, assess and coordinate proper resources to address the issue
* Maintain required written records and reports for work performed, corrective actions, and parts management
* Adhere to all safety requirements, including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training in mechanics and experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
* 3-5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing setting
* Experience in 3-phase electric, hydraulics, and ability to handle a variety of mechanical tasks
