Key Responsibilities

  • Collects demographic and financial data, accurately entering information into electronic medical records
  • Provides support through phone encounters, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed
  • Directs patients to appointments or procedures, ensuring timely and efficient care
  • Collects co-pays and remaining balances, obtaining signatures as required
  • Responds to questions regarding financial assistance programs
  • Performs end-of-day reconciliation, maintaining accurate records
  • May participate in prescription refill order processes, as appropriate
  • Manages and organizes patient care lobbies, providing departmental support
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age, with education and/or experience meeting required functional competencies
  • 1 year of basic computer skills
  • Preferred qualifications include Associate's or Vocational degree, 0-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office products, and 0-2 years of customer service or business office experience
Physical Demands

This role requires occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs, with negligible weight frequently handled.
