Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Control Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of perishable goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate daily with buyers and warehouse management on all issues related to perishable items.
  • Inspect and verify Purchase Order quantities for all inbound perishable loads.
  • Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures pertaining to receiving, storage, and shipping.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year Produce experience (Foodservice, Retail, Grower/Shipper) or similar required.
  • Ability to operate electric pallet jack.
  • Must work well without close supervision.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to sit and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
