Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop engineering designs and maintenance approaches that emphasize risk management and loss prevention.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Assess technical designs to ensure they align with business objectives and internal policies.
  • Assist in various capital expenditure projects, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve reliability, maintainability, and availability goals.
Key Duties:
  • Oversee the commissioning and qualification processes for mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Maintain and update engineering drawings, documentation, and standards.
  • Create and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide training on the operation and upkeep of equipment.
  • Support site enhancements, technology transfers, and quality-related modifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the cGMP biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Expertise in cleanroom design and BSL-2 environments.
  • Proficient in mechanical and HVAC systems, including commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory standards and quality compliance.
Compensation Range:

The salary for this position ranges from $121,300 to $181,900.
