Cardiology Division Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our team as an Instructor in the Cardiology Division at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the newly established Health Technology Innovation course, which aims to empower future healthcare leaders with the necessary skills to transform their ideas into working prototypes and scale them for commercialization.
The ideal candidate will have formal training in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching undergraduate or graduate-level courses on related topics. A research background and expertise in medical device design are highly desirable. The position requires a 10% FTE effort.
Applicants must have a strong track record of teaching and mentoring, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Health Technology Innovation course and participate in departmental activities.
