Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Associate to join our team at Publix Super Markets, Inc. As a Production Line Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up production lines to ensure smooth operations and meet production targets.
  • Move ingredients and assemble products such as sandwiches, sub kits, platters, and chef-to-go meals.
  • Cut and prepare vegetables to meet quality and quantity standards.
  • Load and unload equipment such as racks, ovens, and conveyor belts.
  • Place containers on conveyor belts at line speed to ensure efficient production.
  • Rotate in all positions to gain experience and skills in various areas of the production line.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
  • Must be able to push or pull heavy equipment occasionally to meet production demands.
  • Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Must demonstrate safe working habits to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 35 pounds frequently to meet production demands.
  • Must be able to learn and perform all positions on the production line.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must have good human relations skills to work effectively with team members.
  • Must be able to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality to meet production demands.
  • Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas of the production line.
  • Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions to meet production demands.
  • Must possess basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Must show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work to meet production demands.
  • Must have a commitment to Publix and our mission to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
