**Job Overview**

At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fire Sprinkler System Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of their fire sprinkler systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Receive and respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Utilize technical manuals, part manuals, change notices, and bulletins to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by consistently communicating with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Electronically complete service acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage.

**Requirements:**

  • 5 years of documented experience in the fire sprinkler/suppression industry.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Must possess and retain current State Fire Protection License or Journeyman License valid.
