Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental illness, and behavioral challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personalized care and support to our participants, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to participants, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance required for day and evening shifts
