Job Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking a skilled Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at our Largo medical center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric care for patients in an outpatient clinic setting, Monday–Friday, with support from a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, therapists, advanced practice nurses, and clinical pharmacists.
  • Document visit notes in EPIC EMR, an integrated medical information system.
  • Treat patients in clinic and via video/phone (hybrid schedule).
  • No inpatient rounding.
  • 20% of daily work time allotted to electronic patient care management.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
