Funciones y Responsabilidades:
- Evaluar y tratar las condiciones físicas y habilidades de movimiento de los pacientes.
- Desarrollar planes de tratamiento personalizados y administrar intervenciones terapéuticas.
- Educar a los pacientes sobre estrategias de autogestión y ejercicios en casa.
- Colaborar con profesionales de la salud y abogar por las necesidades de los pacientes.
- Mantener documentación precisa y buscar desarrollo profesional continuo.
Requisitos:
- Título de Doctor en Terapia Física (DPT).
- Licencia estatal, generalmente a través de la aprobación del Examen Nacional de Terapia Física (NPTE).
- Fuertes habilidades clínicas, de comunicación y pensamiento crítico.
- Empatía, compasión y compromiso con la práctica ética.
