Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome each customer with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Provide efficient and accurate service during all customer interactions.
  • Guide customers to appropriate areas and offer assistance as needed.
  • Process all sales transactions accurately through the cash register.
  • Ensure customers receive correct change and receipts for their purchases.
  • Adhere to all procedures regarding cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized register area at all times.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Support sales floor staff with restocking and organization.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
Vision capabilities must include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, kneel, push, and pull as necessary.
The work environment typically has a moderate noise level.

Experience and Skills:
Must be at least 18 years old.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in retail or cashiering is highly desirable.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with touch screen cash registers are essential for success in this role.
