- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices.
- Provide education and training to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- 2 years of unit specialty RN experience.
- AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification.
- Registered Nurse - NJ or Registered Nurse - NLC multi-state licensure.
- TNCC certification (or must obtain within 1 year of hire).
- 8 hours of Trauma related Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours annually (if assigned to specific units).
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or must obtain by end of orientation).
- 8 hours of Stroke related Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hours annually (if assigned to specific units).
- CPR Requirements: ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (if assigned to specific units).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adjust quickly to change and react positively.
- Considerable knowledge of principles, practices, and current trends in nursing.
