Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Geriatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' medical status upon admission and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs
  • Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
Requirements
  • ASN/ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain BSN from an accredited program within four years of hire
  • Current Colorado RN license
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty days of hire
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a comparable setting
