Job Title: IS and Cyber Security Professional

OSAAVA Services is seeking a highly skilled IS and Cyber Security Professional to support the United States Air Force's 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering, operating, updating, patching, configuring, developing, integrating, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining vulnerability management systems, tools, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ensuring the security of the organization's systems and information assets.
  • Protecting against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction and developing IT security policies and standards.
  • Working with end users to determine the needs of individual departments.
  • Implementing policies or procedures and tracking compliance throughout the organization.
  • Performing vulnerability assessments using AF-provided tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years direct/related experience in information security.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Active/valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification or Active Comptia Security +.
  • Experience with DoD/USAF information security policy background with practical/hands-on experience applying RMF processes and principles.
  • Experience developing and/or contributing to an RMF body of evidence composition, applicable artifacts, and associated control families.

Security Clearance: Active Secret

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
