We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Florence, South Carolina. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in preparing exam rooms and ultrasound equipment, conducting examinations, recognizing and recording anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment, writing reports based on scan results, and alerting medical staff of any abnormalities.
Responsibilities:- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for examinations
- Conduct high-quality ultrasound scans to obtain diagnostic images
- Recognize and record anatomical structures and pathologies
- Write detailed reports summarizing examination findings
- Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient care and any anomalies detected during examinations
Our ideal candidate will have active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and at least two years of recent experience in this field. You'll also need to hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
