The ideal candidate will be an experienced full-stack engineer responsible for spearheading enterprise Solutions Architecture. This role entails defining and evaluating architectural frameworks for both on-premises and cloud settings, acting as the principal solution designer across in-house, vendor, and hybrid models, and formulating cloud migration strategies that align with enterprise objectives. Promote best practices and work closely with domain architects and lead engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute robust, scalable, and adaptable solutions throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
- Work with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical designs.
- Encourage innovation, set architectural benchmarks, and guide development teams in creating high-performance applications.
Essential Qualifications
- Expertise in full-stack solution design and implementation.
- Experience in architecting and implementing high-performance enterprise-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of distributed caching patterns and architectures.
- Proficiency in loosely coupled, event-driven architectures.
- RDBMS data modeling and optimization skills.
- Experience in profiling and performance optimization, including threading, memory management, and JVM optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile and Continuous Integration/Delivery methodologies.
- Experience in developing and implementing solutions for containerized environments.
- Ability to design and build low-latency applications.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, including defining application boundaries.
- Proficient in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, ORMs, APIs, and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with .NET (desirable).
- Knowledge of NoSQL models and their appropriate applications.
- Experience with modern DevOps practices.
- Proficient in test-driven development.
- Strong skills in domain modeling and design/integration patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Preferred background in the financial sector, particularly in Capital Markets or Wealth Management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in Java.
- Over 10 years of experience in full-stack systems design and development.
- 3+ years of experience with microservices.
- 3+ years of experience with event-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka.
- Expertise in on-premises solutions and familiarity with cloud-native solutions.
