Senior Software Engineer - Connectivity Team

What You'll Do:

  • Code Like a Pro: Dive into the world of C++ and other languages to create high-performance tools for spread trading, strategy creation, and automated trading.
  • Innovate and Design: Collaborate on software requirements and bring new product features to life while enhancing existing functionality.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Engage in design discussions, review sessions, and daily scrum meetings to keep the innovation flowing.
  • Documentation and Quality: Craft detailed design documents, assist with product documentation, and ensure top-notch quality through unit testing.
  • Tackle Challenges: Analyze performance issues, optimize for low latency, and enhance system functionality in a real-time, multi-threaded environment.
  • Evolve Technology: Propose enhancements and integrate new components into our evolving software architecture.

What You Bring:

  • Expertise in C++: A minimum of 5 years of proven development experience, with a strong grasp of C++11 or higher.
  • Performance Focused: Proficient in multi-threaded applications, with a knack for debugging and optimizing performance.
  • Trading Knowledge: Experience in the trading industry and familiarity with protocols like FIX/SBE/ITCH is a big plus.
  • Clean Code Advocate: A passion for writing clean, readable code and a familiarity with agile development practices.
