Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Food and Nutrition Services team on a part-time basis. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and implement standards for sanitation and safety in food service operations
  • Recommend and monitor practices for sanitation and safety
  • Provide nutritional counseling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other hospital services to ensure seamless care
  • Record patient information and gather departmental data for reports
  • Maintain pertinent data and provide recommendations for therapeutic diets
  • Evaluate patient tolerance of therapeutic diets and make recommendations for changes
  • Visit patients to determine satisfaction with food services and resolve diet-related issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and goals
  • Responsible for patient's ongoing assessment and discharge planning
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited college offering a dietetic program
  • Registered member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (or eligible)
  • Completed an approved dietetic internship
  • Complete continuing education requirements to remain registered
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, including occasional Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
