Your Contribution:
Jacobs is in search of a Senior Cybersecurity Compliance Officer to oversee a key contract. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the Authorization and Assessment process under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for both new and existing information systems. You will ensure that all assigned systems maintain compliance with Authority to Operate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying comprehensive security requirements necessary for data protection, ensuring the implementation of suitable information security controls, and conducting thorough security risk assessments and analyses.
- Support the integration of Cybersecurity functions within the configuration management framework.
- Engage with stakeholders, IT personnel, and senior management to define and meet essential Cybersecurity objectives.
- Contribute to the development of security architecture.
- Facilitate the integration of legacy systems and contribute to the Cybersecurity aspects of systems deployed in operational settings.
- Prepare and maintain security authorization documentation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in roles such as IT Risk Assessor, System Security Engineer, Information Systems Security Manager, or Designated Authorizing Official.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, an additional four (4) years of experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling twelve (12) years of experience.
- Possession of a DoD compliant IAM Level III certification, such as GSLC, CISM, or CISSP (or associate level).
- Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and a current full-scope polygraph.
- Demonstrated knowledge in areas including system security design, defense-in-depth strategies, engineering life cycles, information domains, cross-domain solutions, controlled interfaces, identification, authentication, authorization, system integration, ICD 503, risk management, intrusion detection, contingency planning, incident handling, configuration control, change management, auditing, and security testing.
Required Skills:
- Ability to analyze Cybersecurity measures integrated into systems intended for operational deployment.
- Experience in preparing risk assessments, action plans, authorization recommendations, and related security documentation.
- Capability to identify and support overarching security requirements for data protection, ensuring adherence to information security policies and controls.
- Ensure that Cybersecurity functions are incorporated into the development and risk management processes, particularly those related to infrastructure protection and defensive IT strategies.
- Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders, IT staff, and senior management to define and achieve necessary risk management objectives.
- Support the integration of legacy systems within the overall IT environment.
