JOB SUMMARY

The role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various areas of the facility, including both warehouse and production spaces.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of machinery, support equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Ensure floors, walls, and designated workspaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and other warehouse upkeep duties.
  • Prioritize and manage work orders based on departmental requirements.
  • Adhere to all Food Safety, Sanitation, and Safety protocols.
  • Follow proper handling procedures for all products in compliance with SQF standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the facility by collecting and disposing of trash and debris.
  • Work closely with supervisors to minimize product loss.
  • Report any unresolvable safety issues to management immediately.
  • Observe and enforce safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained and cleaned, reporting any service needs to supervisors.
  • Comply with all company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Minimum of one year in sanitation or maintenance roles.

Skills: Ability to work independently, attention to detail, and familiarity with general building sanitation practices.

Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Language Skills: Proficient in reading and comprehending instructions and communicating effectively with colleagues.

Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills are necessary.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily located in a warehouse setting with exposure to various environmental conditions.
