Precision CNC Machinist

Position: CNC Machinist / Setup Operator

Work Schedule: Night Shift (4:30 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday to Thursday) with potential overtime on Fridays

Current Staffing Requirements:

• Seeking a skilled CNC Swiss machine operator and a CNC lathe machinist for the second shift.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC setup, specifically on lathes.
• Proficient in running production on CNC machines while ensuring precision in part dimensions.
• Strong understanding of GD&T to accurately determine true positions without the use of a CMM.
• Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, including GD&T features such as true position and surface profile.
• Experience in manipulating G-Code programs, adjusting work offsets, and modifying tool offsets.
• Skilled in changing, touching off, and indicating tools for CNC lathes.
• Experience in manufacturing medical or aerospace components is advantageous.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the workday.
• Willingness to bend, twist, turn, and reach throughout the work shift.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and various substances.
• Reliability and a strong attendance record are essential.
• Aptitude assessment will be conducted during the onsite interview.
