Pediatric Emergency Department Registered Nurse Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the needs of pediatric patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • One year of experience in a direct patient care setting preferred
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
