Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team at COLT SERVICES LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the detection, evaluation, and repair of leaks at client work locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company and customer safety standards and practices.
  • Leak Repair Operations: Assess leaking components, report findings to operations and customer representatives, and perform leak repair operations using various techniques and tools.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to increase company presence in assigned geographic areas and provide excellent customer service.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train new technicians or assistant technicians to ensure the success of our operations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform documentation and administrative procedures as required from job to job.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school or related education preferred.
  • Experience: 2 or more years of experience with on-line leak repair.
  • Skills: Ability to perform a variety of tasks, prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license and have obtained or have the ability to obtain OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification.
Work Environment

This position is based out of a branch or site location with a geographic responsibility. Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant or industrial atmosphere, interacting with other crew employees, supervisors, and customer personnel. The position may require working in or near extreme hot or cold environments and may involve travel to offsite locations.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and climb throughout industrial areas, including steps and ladders.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with customers in high-stress environments and maintain focus and multitask effectively on a variety of job scopes.
