Overview

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose and investigate vehicle systems and components to determine causes of defective operation.
  • Execute major and minor repairs of defective components.
  • Document all activities in MV's Fleet Management System.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Combination of at least one to two years of apprentice level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
