Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the master engineering project schedule, addressing risks and issues across various project phases.
- Facilitate weekly goal-setting sessions for project teams, ensuring effective communication and minimal meeting time.
- Oversee the coordination of engineering deliverables, including approvals, BOM, and drawing releases.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution and ownership assignment.
- Forecast and eliminate obstacles to maintain project focus and deliverables.
- Establish a work breakdown structure (WBS) to guide project execution.
- Analyze project milestones, dependencies, and resource utilization.
- Prepare weekly status reports and materials for project reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in engineering and project management.
- At least five years of experience in product development engineering.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as MS Project.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Strong understanding of engineering development processes and configuration management.
Physical Requirements:
- Onsite presence is required, with daily engagement in office and production environments.
- Ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, and carrying equipment.
