Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to facility-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • Previous experience as an RN, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state.
Workplace Conditions

As a Labor and Delivery RN, you can expect to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and reaching. You may be required to lift up to 80 pounds using proper techniques. Standing and walking for extended periods are also common. You may be exposed to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases, and blood-borne pathogens.

Magnet Medical offers a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. This is a travel nursing opportunity with a dynamic and supportive team.
