Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to ensure the successful delivery and pickup of kettles, kettle stands, bells, and other bell-ringing equipment to various locations. As a Christmas Driver, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Christmas activities and making a positive impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Salvation Army vehicles are properly maintained and equipped for the job.
  • Deliver and pick up kettles, kettle stands, bells, and other equipment to and from designated locations.
  • Check and maintain the condition of equipment to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that bell ringers have all necessary materials and equipment.
  • Regularly check bell-ringing locations to ensure that bell ringers are present and have all necessary equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kettle Coordinator.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current and valid Washington State Driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and complete Decision Driver Training (Online).
  • Ability to read and understand Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a seasonal, full-time position (Monday - Saturday) from November 18, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The hourly wage is $17.28/hour, with 40 hours/week.
