We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at ProMed Staffing Resources. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by a physician, ensuring accurate dosages and patient safety.
  • Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight, to monitor patient health and detect any potential issues.
  • Provide basic wound care, including cleaning and bandaging injured areas, to promote healing and prevent infection.
  • Administer injections of medication, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Offer immunizations to patients, ensuring they receive necessary vaccinations and boosters.
  • Take detailed medical histories from patients, including their medical background and current health status.
  • Enter accurate and timely information into computer systems, maintaining patient records and facilitating communication with healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic life support certification, with the ability to obtain advanced certifications as needed.
