Responsibilities:


SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, perform various warehouse tasks related to the distribution center and general warehousing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Package, seal, and label products as necessary.


Transport, sort, kit, load, and unload cartons, orders, pallets, or other items into and out of trailers or to designated locations.

Ensure proper, efficient, and accurate execution of all processes.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and orderliness of all areas within the facility while ensuring personal workspace is consistently tidy.


Interpret shipment summaries, purchase orders, packing lists, bill of materials, and other documents pertinent to the role within the distribution center.

Execute all tasks related to picking and preparing sales orders with an accuracy rate exceeding 99% of the time.

Execute all tasks related to receiving and organizing purchase orders with an accuracy rate exceeding 99% of the time.


Identify key areas for improvement regarding maintaining picking orders, receiving products, packing, recovery, and returns; enhance processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of the role are performed correctly and accurately.

Must achieve greater than 90% to standard with over 80% measured activity.

Perform additional duties related to the department.

Overtime may be necessary based on business requirements.

Responsibilities:


Comply with, promote, and accept responsibility for adherence to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.

Engage in job site safety/hazard analysis.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior experience in a warehouse setting.

Familiarity with pallet jack and RF equipment.

Experience with Forklift or Picker preferred.

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to communicate effectively before employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations in all units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
