Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning, immobilizing, and instructing them on the procedure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
  • Knowledge of surgical/sterile procedures and ability to perform studies with or without contrast media.
  • Proficient in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position working Tuesday through Friday with on-call requirements averaging 5 days per month.
