Role: Licensed Physical Therapist

Location: Reno, NV

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and ongoing functional evaluations of patients.
  • Assess patients' physical conditions and requirements, creating customized rehabilitation plans tailored to their specific needs.
  • Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation within the department.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care.
  • Engage in team discussions and collaborate on patient management strategies.
  • Continuously educate patients about their care plans and progress.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy, which includes exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and various therapeutic modalities.
  • Guide patients on home exercises to promote quicker recovery and long-term health improvements.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Nevada.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a multidisciplinary or clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
