Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, providing necessary instruments and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical supplies, equipment, and patient information.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • Current CPR certification and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
