Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a new and challenging setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Hawaii
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
