Essential Duties:

  • Administer general contracts and subcontracts.
  • Monitor jobsite safety and implement accident prevention measures.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules.
  • Procure and expedite materials and equipment.
  • Process and log Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Review and coordinate shop drawings and submittals.
  • Conduct project cost reviews and maintain financial accountability.
  • Evaluate subcontractor payment applications.
  • Document project coordination meetings.
  • Supervise and coordinate field installations by subcontractors.
  • Negotiate change proposal pricing with subcontractors.
  • Prepare and document change proposals and orders.
  • Research construction methods and equipment options.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate project closeout processes.
  • Implement safety programs and EEO/Affirmative Action initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in building and construction management internships.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
  • Proficiency in modern technology and strong communication skills.
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes and software (Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with public works projects.
  • Estimating experience.
  • Self-perform experience.
  • OSHA 30 Hour Training.
  • LEED project experience.
