Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of employment or compact state.
  • BLS certification upon hire, with ACLS certification required within 6 months.
  • 1 year of RN experience, with 6 months of experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit preferred.
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training and Critical Care Course preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCRN, PCCN, RN-BC, TCRN, or NIH Stroke Certification.
  • Experience with life-supporting technology and modalities, such as ventilator management and CRRT.
