About the Role

The CDL Sweeper Driver will be responsible for safely operating a sweeper, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and reporting on these inspections. This position requires an active unrestricted class B CDL license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate trucks safely and responsibly by following all regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks of equipment and trailers, including brakes, steering column, lights, and mirrors, to ensure vehicles are in proper working order and accurately complete supporting documentation.
  • Follow and maintain proper loading procedures to secure cargo and re-check the cargo in transit when necessary.
  • Visit weigh stations for weight verification as needed.
  • Inspect trailers and equipment before and after loading and accurately complete all necessary documentation and reporting.
  • Proper documentation and tracking of the activity log.
  • Always follow traffic safety regulations, cautioning in unstable weather and road conditions.
  • Use GPS to stay informed of route information and proper communication with office and job site management.
  • Performing snow removal duties on routes designated by the supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • No sweeper experience is needed. Will take new drivers out of school and provide training.
  • Must have a Class B CDL license.
  • Must have a clean MVR
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
  • Requires driving between company or customer locations.
  • Travel within the Denver Metro Area.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is $23.00 - $28.00 hourly, depending on experience. $2,500 Sign-on bonus paid out over the first year of employment
